Camp MerryTimes is a residential summer camp experience for all of the children and siblings in the Friends of Santa Claus program ages 5-17.  We have SO MUCH FUN each year and would love for your family to be a part of this annual event! Kids love camp for so many reasons. There are activities galore, including:

  • fishing

  • canoeing and kayaking

  • stand-up paddleboarding

  • swimming, waterslides, and THE BLOB!

  • archery

  • horseback riding

  • arts and crafts

  • woodworking

  • rock wall climbing

  • high ropes course and zip line (must be at least 5' tall!)

Camp MerryTimes is a member of the Children's Oncology Camping Association, International. There is a full staff of doctors and nurses on site from the clinic that will make sure any medication is distributed and that all campers are happy and healthy! They participate right alongside the children and love seeing the campers having fun outside of the clinic!

Safety is Key - We strive to make sure every camper has one-on-one attention with a counselor while at camp. Counselors work together to make sure all eyes are on the kids at all times! Also, the waterfront is only open for play time when licensed lifeguards are on duty. Allowing the kids to have as much fun as possible while being SAFE is our first priority always!

Each camper is in a cabin with other children their age and counselors who make sure that fun is had by all. The cabins are decorated and themed - kids get the full camp experience and go home tired and with lots of fun stories to tell.

Perhaps the most important part of Camp MerryTimes is that the patients and their siblings get to connect with other families that know what it's like to be in their shoes! But they also get to forget about treatment for a few days and just be kids and have fun!
